CONSTRUCTION :
Conductor: Fine Wire Strands of Plain Annealed Copper, Insulation: PVC, Laying UP: Cores twisted together in Layers, Core Identification: Number Coded, Black Cores with White Number + Green / Yellow or Colour Coded, Sheath: PVC Grey.
APPLICATION :
Designed to offer a flexible solution for signalling, measuring and control applications. This range of cables are not only flexible but offer heat and oil protection.
TECHNICAL DATA :
Voltage: 300/500V. Test Voltage: 3000V. Operating Temperature Range: -5oC to +80oC flexing. -30o to +80oC fixed. Minimum Bending Radius: 15 x Cable diameter. Sheath Resistance to oils, acids, caustic solutions and gasolines.
RELEVANT STANDARDS :
Conductor Stranding: VDE 0295 Class 5 and VDE 0812. Core Identification: VDE 0293 Sheath: VDE 0250 Part 405. These cables also generally conform to BS6500.
CORE IDENTIFICATION :
Number coded cables are manufactured with black cores and white numbers and integrated green / yellow in outer layer. (No green / yellow in Two Core).
ADDITIONS TO RANGE :
'YY' cables are also available in colour coded 0.14mm 0.5mm2 to DIN47100 Colour Codes DIN 47100 0.5mm2 and above to VDE 0293 2 to 5 cores.6cores + German standard colour code German Standard Colour Codes 'YY' are also available with a blue sheath Ref. YYBL.'YY' are also available without green/yellow Ref. YYOZ.
